"They're like an invisible blanket that you don't know that's there until you need it. And then they come around you and they support you and help you with stuff you don't even realise you need support with. Charities like this are fundamental to getting through it, living with it and coming out the other side."

Why choose Childhood Cancer Ireland?
Childhood Cancer Ireland is a national charity solely dedicated to supporting children and young people with cancer, survivors, and their families.
Every year, an average of 374 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in Ireland. As a parent and survivor-led charity, we understand how this diagnosis pulls the rug from under the entire family without warning. When that happens, Childhood Cancer Ireland is there, giving families the strength they need every step of the way.
Our work reaches families at every stage of their cancer journey, from diagnosis and treatment to recovery, life after cancer and bereavement. By partnering with us, your organisation shows visible support for families facing one of the most difficult challenges imaginable.
We do this work without Government funding, relying on the generosity of public donations and corporate partnerships. Your support directly helps families impacted by childhood cancer all over Ireland.

Corporate events & challenges
Charity Boardroom Battle: Fundraiser Face-Off
Charity Boardroom Battle is an exciting, team-based corporate fundraising challenge where colleagues come together to use their creativity, strategy and teamwork to raise funds for Childhood Cancer Ireland.
Inspired by The Apprentice, teams compete in a friendly fundraising challenge to see who can raise the most support for children with cancer and their families. From innovative fundraising ideas to creative campaigns, teams will plan, strategise and put their skills to the test — all while making a real difference.
The goal is simple: raise as much as possible to support children and families affected by childhood cancer.
This is more than a competition. It’s an opportunity for teams to connect, showcase their creativity and work together for an important cause.
Why get involved?
Funds raised through the Charity Boardroom Battle directly support Childhood Cancer Ireland’s programmes and services for families affected by childhood cancer. Your team’s efforts can help:
Provide emotional and practical support to families during treatment and beyond
Fund therapeutic activities that help children cope with the challenges of cancer treatment
Support parents and siblings who are also deeply affected by a childhood cancer diagnosis
Create moments of joy and connection for children during incredibly difficult times
By taking part, your team will help ensure that every child and family facing childhood cancer receives the support they need.
Are you ready to take on the challenge?
Mountain to Climb: A Corporate Team Challenge
Bring your colleagues together for A Mountain to Climb, a corporate team challenge inspired by the courage and resilience of children facing cancer.
Companies are invited to form a team and take on a hill or mountain challenge while raising vital funds for Childhood Cancer Ireland. Every step taken represents the strength, determination and bravery shown by children with cancer and the families who walk beside them.
This event is designed to be flexible for your organisation. Your team can choose any route, any location and any date that works best for you.
The challenge can be completed anywhere – there are numerous routes to choose from all over the country.
It’s a chance for colleagues to come together, step outside the office and take on a meaningful challenge while building team spirit and making a real difference.
Why take part?
Your team will help raise vital funds to support children with cancer and their families across Ireland. The funds you raise help provide emotional, practical and community-based supports during and after treatment.
Every hill climbed is a symbol of solidarity, because for families facing childhood cancer, the climb can be far greater.
