This year, Childhood Cancer Ireland and Lions Clubs of Ireland will ‘Light It Up Gold’ to raise awareness of childhood, adolescent and young adult cancer. Since 2023, Lions Clubs in Ireland have complemented their fifteen existing District projects with a new focus on childhood cancer.
This September and throughout the year, Lions Clubs across Ireland will hold several events, including Light It Up Gold walks and other awareness and fundraising events, bringing communities together in solidarity with families affected by childhood cancer and helping to raise funds to enable the childhood cancer charity to continue to provide supports to families nationwide. Many clubs have already held successful events and built up important links in their communities, as well as raising vital funds to help key projects continue and grow.
We will continue to update this page as more events are added so keep an eye here and on our social media as there may be an event close to you that you’d like to support.
