Here at Childhood Cancer Ireland we are always in need of support. Our work is only possible because of generous donations from the public and from companies who support us and fundraise on our behalf. As a non-government funded organisation, every little helps.
The fundraising landscape has changed a lot in the past couple of years – moving to predominantly online events, and individual, rather than team events. We would like to thank everyone who continued to support us during this challenging time.
Funds raised are used to fund our support services for children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and their families. These include:
- Shared Care Hospital Project working to improve facilities in Ireland’s 16 Shared Care/ Regional Hospitals which children attend for treatment outside of Crumlin
- Beads of Courage and Sibling Beads Programme
- Parent Workshops to help parents process what they have been through and move on.
