Individual Psychological Support/Counselling

Individual Psychological Support / Counselling

We understand that childhood cancer affects the entire family and not just the child or young person who has received a diagnosis. Through our Clinical Psychologist, we offer dedicated individual psychological and counselling support for children, adolescents, young adults, siblings and their parents throughout their cancer experience. This support is offered online.

By providing a therapeutic, compassionate and confidential space, we can support children, young people and parents to help young people process their experiences and emotions through diagnosis, treatment and into recovery and survivorship.

This support is also available to bereaved families.

Our goal is to ensure that families have access to specialised, high-quality psychological care, tailored to their individual needs. We also work in partnership with the National Cancer Control Programme’s (NCCP) Alliance of Community Cancer Support Centres and can refer you to specialist support locally if needed.
