Life After Childhood Cancer Treatment

Childhood Cancer Ireland is proud to launch a brand-new programme supporting families as they navigate life after childhood cancer treatment.

Finishing treatment can bring huge relief, but it can also bring unexpected emotions, from fear of recurrence to uncertainty about what comes next. Managing fatigue, emotional wellbeing, school, friendships and follow-up care can raise new questions for the whole family.

This is the first programme of its kind in Ireland, designed for:
πŸ’› Children aged 0–16 who have finished treatment
πŸ’› Parents
πŸ’› Siblings aged 0–18

Join us for a weekend at Barretstown from 17th β€“ 19th April 2026, followed by three online workshops.

Through expert guidance, practical tools, emotional support and shared experiences, this programme aims to help families feel informed, connected and empowered in life after treatment.
