Services offered to adolescents and young adults:

We offer play therapy for children aged from 4 years up (available Wednesdays and Fridays); We provide counselling for adolescents and young adults with cancer. Counselling is limited to six one-to-one sessions and subject to parental consent. (max of 6 free sessions). We can also facilitate art therapy for adolescents and young adults with cancer. Services are available to anyone living in Co Mayo or the surrounding areas.

Services offered to parents:

Parents of CAYA are free to avail of any of our core services which include private one-to-one (max of 6 free sessions) counselling or our complementary therapies (max of 6 free sessions) and any group activities taking place at any given time. Services are available to anyone living in Co Mayo or the surrounding areas.

Services offered to survivors:

Services available for survivors of CAYA include the following - depending on age of the client: Play Therapy (age 4 and up); Private one-to-one counselling for teenagers (with parental consent) and young adults; art therapy for teenagers and young adults and complementary therapies (max of 6 free sessions) and any group activities taking place at any given time for young adults. Services are available to anyone living in Co Mayo or the surrounding areas.

Services available for siblings of CAYA include the following - depending on age of the client: Play Therapy (age 4 and up); Private one-to-one counselling for teenagers (with parental consent) and art therapy for teenagers (with parental consent). Services are available to anyone living in Co Mayo or the surrounding areas.

Bereavement support or services your organisation offers to parents:

Parents of CAYA are free to avail of any of our core services which include private one-to-one (max of 6 free sessions) counselling which can be tailored for bereavement support; and/or our complementary therapies (max of 6 free sessions) and any group activities taking place at any given time. Services are available to anyone living in Co Mayo or the surrounding areas.

Bereavement support services available for siblings of children or young people who have passed away from childhood, adolescent or young adult cancer include the following - depending on age of the client: Play Therapy (age 4 and up); Private one-to-one counselling for teenagers (with parental consent) and young adults - tailored for bereavement support; art therapy for teenagers and young adults. Services are available to anyone living in Co Mayo or the surrounding areas.
